Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 17, 2012

Homeowners are fueling a post-recession interest in remodeling. Earlier this year, the National Association of Home Builders remodeling market index hit its highest level in five years. However, many homeowners wanting to jump on the kitchen remodeling bandwagon are finding it hard to find financing.

Weve seen a substantial increase in inquiries about remodeling projects, says Ed Buckley, President of All Quality, Inc. A lot of homeowners want to build their dream kitchen, update their bathroom, or need roof repairs, but due to the economic climate have low credit ratings. Perhaps they lost their job during the recession but theyre working again. Theyre back on their feet, but cant find financing. To help these homeowners, we have initiatives to assist them.

Another challenge is that many people are underwater with their mortgage and feel stuck. We have an innovative solution for that, Buckley says. We offer a streamlined program that enables homeowners to refinance their existing mortgage(s) plus the cost of improvements – and the loan amount is based on their home value after rehabilitation plus 10%. Our customers can often get out of a bad mortgage and get that home makeover they want. Its truly a breakthrough!

For homeowners in these types of situations, All Quality offers the following financing options:

V/MC/Disc – All Quality now accepts credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Owe More Than Your House is Worth? By teaming up with major banks, All Quality can assist homeowners who qualify for Streamlined 203(k) Loans. This loan program enables homeowners who are underwater owing more than their property is worth to afford home improvements by basing the loan on the value of the home after improvements are made. The loans allow a homeowner to simultaneously refinance the first mortgage and combine it with the improvement costs into a new mortgage up to 110% of the After Improvement Value. Because the new loan often has a lower interest rate than a homeowners current financing, some homeowners end up with a mortgage payment lower than before even with the home improvements added in and pay less in interest over the life of the loan.

Bad Credit, 0% Interest – All Quality has a 0% interest program that can help homeowners who have no credit or bad credit since its based on current income instead of credit history.

Balance Transfer Checks All Quality is authorized to receive balance transfer checks from customers using 0% balance transfers from credit card companies. Although the credit card company fees typically range between 3% to 5%, the zero interest rate unlocks their credit and provides a very low cost of borrowing.

In-House Financing – In some cases, All Quality is willing to finance a small portion of a project if the client is credit worthy.

All Quality, Inc. is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with an A+ rating and is a safe choice for consumers, providing high quality work at competitive prices. They serve Northeastern Illinois and offer a wide range of services that includes kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, basement renovations, storm damage restoration, insurance claims, siding, decks, roofing, windows, decks, and much more.

For more information, please visit their website http://www.allqualityinc.com, Facebook at Facebook.com/AllQuality , check out a quick video about the company at YouTube.com.

Question by : Does a free equifax credit report include employment history and details?
I have been living in USA, NJ for one and half year and working in a company for the same amount of time, but when I checked my free equifax credit report, it did not show any employment history? Is there something wrong? And what all other information I am supposed to get from free credit report?
thank you

Best answer:

Answer by Steve D
You get your credit history – that is all they collect. On occasion, they may have your current employment listed, but usually not your employment or salary history.

Article by Shari Woodstein

CREDIT SCORES / CREDIT HISTORY REPAIR

Credit scores are numbers ranging from 300 to 850. These scores are a measure of a person’s creditworthiness and financial stability. Over the years they have become an important part of a person’s future. Lower credit scores can affect your life but credit history repair can help.

Financial institutions and creditors use credit scores as the basis for making decisions on granting credit. Each bureau has it’s own formula for figuring credit scores. It consists of numbers being put into their own formula. The main factors for these formulas are:The amount of debt a consumer has. Need 3 to 4 open accountsThe length of time a consumer has had credit. Newer accounts are riskierThe balance to limit on each account. High balances are a danger signalThe mixture of the types of accounts a consumer has (i.e. credit cards, mortgages, auto, and installment loan.Any negative information in these areas will need to be worked on and changed in order to get higher credit scores.

No open credit, no scores. This can create problems for you the consumer. Not only are the scores used to determine if credit is granted, it determines the percentage rate that will be given for that account. Credit scores are also used in decisions for employment, promotions, rates for car insurance, deposits for utilities and prospective landlords plus much more. Know what you need to do to have the highest possible scores.

There are three credit bureaus that are pulled to obtain credit scores. These are: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax/CSC Credit Services. Each bureau is a commercial business not affiliated with the government. They are multi-million dollar companies that operate for profit. The bureaus do not verify the accuracy on credit reports. The bureaus say it is your duty to prove the accuracy on your report. This makes credit history repair very important.

These bureaus make their money selling your credit report to others. They even sell your personal information to telemarketers and mailing list companies without your permission. A consumer with bad credit means more business for the bureaus. This type of consumer will apply for credit 10 times more often than consumers with good credit. It is very important to get to know and change your situation.

TransUnion and Experian will also sell credit scores to consumers but they are not FICO scores. They are scores the bureaus have created for their own use. These scores can differ as much as 100 points from FICO scores. Equifax does sell consumers the actual fico scores. The scores of each bureau will differ since each bureau has their own way for figuring them. Also, creditors do not always report to all three bureaus. You need your credit scores from all three bureaus in order to know what is going on and to be able to track any changes on your credit report.

Valley Forge, PA (PRWEB) May 15, 2012

Say youre a fifth-grader, and its the first day of school. Your teacher starts with some surprising news: This year, youll need to pay rent for your desk.

Fortunately, you can earn a salary for the rent by doing a classroom job or earning bonuses through exceptional performance. And if youre a good saver, you can do more: bid at class auctionsor even buy your desk and never pay rent again.

Those lessons about earning, budgeting, saving, and delaying gratification are at the core of My Classroom Economy (http://www.myclassroomeconomy.org), a new financial education program that investment management firm Vanguard is offering free of charge to teachers. The program uses fun, experiential learning and a simulated microeconomy to teach K through 12 students how to make wise money decisions. My Classroom Economy, which meets many common core curriculum and personal finance education standards, introduces more complex financial life skill concepts as students grow older.

The basic tenets of financial responsibilitysaving adequately, living within your means, and delaying gratification of purchasesare important at any age. But if learned early on, these principles can help more young people create financial security as they become older and need to make more difficult financial decisions. My Classroom Economy is designed to help teachers supplement what many parents are doing at home to teach their children smart money skills, said Vanguard CEO Bill McNabb. Outreach of this type is a natural extension of Vanguards long history of providing plain talk financial and investor education.

Vanguard teamed with award-winning educator Rafe Esquith to create the program and make it available to teachers throughout the United States. My Classroom Economy is based on teaching concepts developed by Mr. Esquith, who has taught at Hobart Boulevard Elementary School in Los Angeles since 1984 and is widely recognized for his innovative and successful teaching techniques. He is the author of books There Are No Shortcuts, Teach Like Your Hair’s on Fire, and Lighting Their Fires.

If more kids are financially responsible and they become better citizens, we all win. Having more people gain an understanding of money will help all of us and our economy, Mr. Esquith said.

My Classroom Economy builds on Mr. Esquiths work with an interactive program that includes an instructional website (http://www.myclassroomeconomy.org) featuring teacher guides and downloadable student materials. The program is a simulated economic system in which students earn school “dollars by completing classroom jobs and performing exceptionally. They use their salary to rent their desks. They can earn additional income by completing extra-credit assignments, achieving exceptional grades, or participating in extracurricular activities. They can also be fined for not meeting classroom expectations regarding schoolwork or behavior.

At the end of each month, students may spend their discretionary income at a class store or auction where grade-appropriate items like markers, small toys, and lunch with the principal are sold. Students assess their budget, bills, and income to determine how much they can spend. Alternatively, they can choose to save money by not buying at all or delaying purchases. With their savings, they can eventually buy their desks outright and thus stop paying rent. Supersavers can also purchase the desks of other students and earn rent themselves.

The program adapts to the increasing sophistication of students as they grow older. For instance, middle school students begin paying for electricity and taxes in addition to their rent, requiring them to budget for multiple expenses.

High school students can purchase certificates of deposit and desk or car insurance. They can also open a classroom investment account using a custom-designed investment simulator to choose a diversified asset allocation among stocks and bonds. Students are taught to think of investing as a long-term proposition by experiencing 32 years of returns within a single school year.????

My Classroom Economy meets many of the common core state curriculum standards developed by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices and the Council of Chief State School Officers. It also meets several of the personal finance education standards developed by the Jump$ tart Coalition? for Personal Financial Literacy.

Vanguards unique ownership structure, in which the management company is owned by the Vanguard funds, enables the firm to maintain a client-centered focus. Vanguard seeks to take a stand for all investors, treat them fairly, and give them the best chance for investment success.
