Question by LALALAND: Why are there no good car lease deals right now?
I can’t find any under 200 a month. Im looking to get my first vehicle, and leasing is the most realistic option for me. Please shed some light to as why there aren’t the deals I used to see advertised.

Leasing is a minefield (down payments, mileage and condition penalties and such), and it is usually not a good deal.
You probably aren’t finding any good lease deals because I am guessing you are young, and your credit is probably not spectacular. Unless you have just stellar credit, you will get screwed on a lease.
Your most realistic option is a used car.
As for why there might be fewer ADVERTISED lease deals, credit is harder to get right now. Perhaps you’ve heard something about it in the news. A vehicle lease is essentially like a loan, except you don’t own anything when you’re done.

Just because you can’t find anything under 200 doesn’t mean there aren’t any good lease deals. The BMW 7 series has a great lease program, benz c class has a great program.
With a 200 cap, you are stuck with hyundai, suzuki, kia.
Ford currently has some GREAT lease deals advertised!
